The NY Jets cut Justin Miller to make room for addition Ty Law. You never would have seen the possibility of Miller being cut at the start of camp. Two years ago he was a Pro Bowl kick returner and he was listed as a starting cornerback at the start of this years camp. Miller lost his job to rookie Dwight Lowery in the preseason while he suffered from having a dislocated toe. The Jets say they cut Justin Miller because he had a lack of versatility and they did not seem him on the active roster this week. You have to wonder if part of the reason for Miller's departure is not being a good influence in the locker room after losing the starting job, while NFL players have no job security this is a fast fall from grace.
